Pregravidary preparation and management of first trimester pregnancy in women with reduced fertility

Abstract

Fertility disorders - infertility and miscarriage - are one of the most urgent problems in «obstetrics and gynecology)) specialty. The participation of sex hormones in the physiological processes of ovulation, implantation and subsequent gestation justifies the possibility of using their analogues in the practice of treating women with impaired fertility. Progesterone preparations are widely used for correction of menstrual cycle disorders, in programs of assisted reproductive technologies, for the prevention and treatment of gestational complications. The review presents the experience of russian and foreign researchers on the use of micronized progesterone preparations in the vaginal dosage form with the aim of restoring fertility and maintaining pregnancy in women with infertility and miscarriage.
