Use of piezo-surgical procedure for splitting alveolar ridge in combination with sausage technique and simultaneous dental implantation in frontal part of upper jaw
Abstract
The installation of dental implants in the incisal area is often difficult due to the centropital pathway atrophy of the alveolar bone after the loss of teeth, an additional problem may be creating a nasal palatine canal close to the implantation zone with a neurovascular bundle. The clinical case demonstrates the use of the piezo-surgical technique for cleavage of the alveolar ridge in the incisal area under the conditions of a significant atrophy of the bone tissue in combination with the technique of directed bone regeneration by Istvan Urban and one-stage implantation.
