On early diagnostics of intrathecal synthesis of acute lymphoblastic leukemia and neuroleukemia in children

Abstract

Inthrathecal synthesis (ITS) during acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and neuroleukemia (NL) in children is very important. Therefore, we try catch and assess degree of ITS in children with ALL and NL at time of investigation, condition of blood-brain barrier (BBB). Our method s investigation of BBB and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) are as radioactive nuclide and neurospecific proteins researches. Research’s parameters - RP (protein, albumin, globulines, aminonitrogen, neuroactive aminoacids - glutamic acid, glutamine in CSF and serum [S] of blood). During ALL (status CNS-1): acute period - AP, remission - Rm, recurrence and NL: preclinical and clinical variants NL (CNS-3), initial NL in children (CNS-6). Concentration ’s gradients CSF/S for albumin, aminonitrogen, glutamic acid, glutamine in ALL, NL were determine. ITS have place in all periods ALL from AP indicated occult NL (ONL) and in deep immunodepression periods in CNS during high dose BFM-90 Protocol (Germany) therapy, increasing accordingly remission from year to years (due chemical meningosis)
