Abstract
The results of the analysis of the sample of women of age of 18-45 years (n = 649) from the IMBD database (Database of the Institute of trace elements) is presented. A comparison of subgroups of women 18-29 (n = 281) and 30-45 years old (n = 368) showed significant differences in 296 of 4125 analyzed indicators. Metric analysis of the collected data indicated the existence of complex correlations between risk of disease and the level of physical fitness, bad habits, nutrient security, indicators of blood biochemistry and reception of vitamin-mineral complex (VMC). Cluster analysis showed that the inadequate supply of women 30-45 years old in vitamins A, B1, B9 PP, B6, B9 B12, C, K, beta-carotene, calcium, iron, zinc and selenium significantly associated with pathologies characterized by chronic inflammation: arthritis (P = 0.0508), bronchitis or pneumonia (P = 0.0395), bronchial asthma (P = 0.0473). Low supply of micronutrients was also associated with decreased immunity (increased resistance of pathogens to antibiotics, P = 0.0164), hypertension (P = 0.0321), myopia (P = 0.0329), thrombophlebitis of the lower limbs (p = 0.0243). Note that 70% of the examined women 30-45 years complained of fatigue at the end of the day and that has also been associated with the presence of various micronutrient deficiencies (р = 0.0148). Therefore, micronutrient supplements within the VMC do not only represent an important reserve for the prevention of these diseases, but can also significantly improve the well-being of patients.

Abstract
The review article discusses current medical literature on cognitive impairment in cardiovascular diseases associated with atherosclerosis. The authors present the analysis of the factors contributing to the development of cognitive impairment and their prevalence based on existing evidence. The article provides new insights into the pathogenesis of cognitive impairment in cardiovascular diseases associated with atherosclerosis as well as potential contribution of these risk factors. Particular attention is paid to the drug treatment of cognitive impairment with nicergoline (Sermion), a drug with a high affinity for a1-adrenoreceptors. The prescription of nicergoline for treating various types of cognitive impairments based on their severity are discussed. In addition, the article covers present evidence on its efficacy and safety.

Abstract
Acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) are widespread and socially significant diseases. Despite similarities in structure and epidemiology as well as respiratory tract tropism, each ARVI has its own clinical characteristics. Laboratory methods allow us to identify each of the respiratory viruses. Influenza s effects are the most severe with a higher risk of developing complications. However, other ARVI can also cause complications. To prevent complications, it is important to suppress viral replication in the early disease stages. One group of the medicinal products, effective in treating ARVI, are interferons. Original medication Grippferon® is a well-known interferon-based preparation. In numerous clinical studies, Grippferon® has confirmed its high efficacy in the treatment and prevention of ARVI and influenza. This medication meets safety requirements and is recommended for use by adults, including pregnant women, and children from the first days of life.

Abstract
Mildronate, created at the Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis, belongs to the class of partial inhibitors of ß-oxidation of fatty acids and is widely known to clinicians due to its cytoprotective properties in pathologies of ischemic genesis. Several hundred studies of different levels are devoted to the study of the clinical effects of Mildronate, and the purpose of this review is to highlight the results of experimental and clinical studies of Mildronate action in cardiology and angiology over the past 15-20 years, corresponding to the modern criteria of evidence-based medicine.

Abstract
Hypertension is a socially significant disease due to high prevalence and severe consequences, including disability and mortality. The department of polyclinic therapy of Russian National Research Medical University repeatedly screened hypertension and risk factors for its development among the population of Moscow. Examinations included blood pressure measurement, body weight measurement and abdominal obesity assessment, use of questionnaires to identify risk factors. The article presents an analysis of the data obtained. There is a low awareness of the population about the risk factors for hypertension and about the presence of a disease, a large prevalence of obesity, smoking, excessive salt intake, and exposure to stress. Recommendations are formulated for correcting risk factors, correct technique for measuring blood pressure, information is provided on blood pressure measuring devices.

Abstract
The article presents a literature review of the efficacy of ace-tylsalicylic acid in the primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular complications. Questions of safety and methods of preventing complications development on the background of long-term intake of acetylsalicylic acid are considered.

Abstract
Hypertension is a socially significant disease. The effects of psychological stress is one of the risk factors for hypertension. The expression of the heat shock protein gene 70 (HSP70) and its polymorphic marker + 1267A>G (rs754888705) in the HSP70 gene was studied in 72 women, exposed to prolonged stress due to the oncological disease of the child. The control group included 63 women without long-term stress factors. The expression of the HSP70 gene in women with episodes of high blood pressure (BP) was studied. In women under the influence of prolonged psychological stress an increase level of the HSP70 gene s expression was revealed. The statistically significant prevalence of the A allele in the gene HSP70-2 J267A>G (rs754888705) was revealed in the group of mothers with stress and BP elevation; prevalence of the allele G noted in the control group.

Abstract
To assess of diagnostic characteristics of fluorescent medical technologies in inflammatory ENT-diseases a technology based on the phenomenon of autofluorescence of tissue and Raman effect was used. Raman fluorescent spectroscopy is based on recording of individual molecular vibrations of unique substances in tissue. In this study we used laser radiation wavelength 532 and 405 nm for in vivo and in vitro exams. Also in the study we present spectral data obtained from palatine tonsils’ surface and pure microbial cultures in vitro. Fluorescent medical technologies help us to register and assess metabolic, morphometric and functional indices of tissue in vivo and to analyze individual spectral data of the microbial composition of the pathological focus. This study presents the experience of using such methods to evaluate the prospects of using and determining the range of clinical application of fluorescent technologies in ENT-practice.
