Headaches and sleep disorders

Abstract

Epidemiological studies show the relationship of headaches and sleep disorders. The article deals with the pathophysiological and behavioral mechanisms of chronic insomnia in headache. Particular attention is paid to the effect of sleep disorders in primary headaches -migraine and cluster headache. The article presents data on using of melatonin in the complex treatment of chronic headaches
