Comparative analysis of the facial growth pattern in patients with distal and mesial occlusion using a new cephalometric method

Abstract

Determining the facial growth pattern is fundamental for planning orthodontic treatment for sagittal occlusal anomalies. The article presents a comparative analysis of the distribution of growth patterns in patients with and mesial occlusion using a new cephalometric method based on an integral assessment of six angular parameters relative to the stable Porion (Po) point.
