Biliary sludge. Epidemiology, risk factors, formation, diagnosis, treatment approaches

Abstract

208 patients with biliary sludge (BS) were studied. The prevalence of BS was established, that was 9.1 % for a clinical examination. Two equivalent groups of patients were formed (75 people with different forms of BS), who were treated with UDCA drugs (Ursosan and Ursofalkom). The overall effectiveness of the treatment of BS was 87.9 %, the duration of treatment and the effectiveness of the dose depended on the type of BS. We have not received the differences in the effectiveness of Ursosan and Ursofalk drugs.
