β-гидрокси-β-метилбутират: роль и перспективы применения в геронтологии

Аннотация

Проблема старения населения в развитых странах ставит перед медицинским сообществом новые задачи. Одной из наиболее распространенных проблем, ухудшающих качество жизни пожилых людей, увеличивающих риск инвалидности и смертности, является саркопения. В настоящее время разработаны несколько диетических подходов к профилактике и коррекции саркопении. Гидроксиметилбутират является одним из инновационных веществ, предназначенных для оптимизации рациона у пожилых пациентов, в первую очередь ведущих малоподвижный образ жизни или находящихся на постельном режиме.
