Лептотрихии и лептотрикс: лингвистический казус или трудности микробиологической диагностики?

Аннотация

Нередко в научной и учебной медицинской литературе бактерии рода Leptotrix и рода Leptotrichia рассматривают как идентичные. В действительности они являются антиподами, стоящими очень далеко друг от друга в эволюционном отношении. Первоначально путаница возникла из-за морфологического сходства (нитчатые формы). Бактерии рода Leptotrix – представители группы железобактерий, обитающих в нейтральных и слабокислых пресных водах с очень низкой концентрацией органического вещества. Энергетический метаболизм лептотрикса строго аэробный, окислительный и хемоорганогетеротрофный (они окисляют ионы двухвалентного железа в трехвалентное для получения энергии). Их клиническая роль до сих пор не доказана. Бактерии рода Leptotrichia являются нормальными обитателями ротовой полости, урогенитального тракта и кишечника человека, являются строгими анаэробами (некоторые штаммы – микроаэрофилы). Они вызывают воспалительные заболевания у больных с иммуносупрессивным состоянием разного генезиса. Однако оценка клинической роли лептотрихий при их выделении из нестерильных мест обитаний требует применении грамотного экологического подхода, включающего знание динамики численности клеток, наличие доминирования того или иного вида и т. д. Совершенно недопустимо проводить микробиологическую диагностику заболеваний, вызванных лептотрихиями, только на основании результатов микроскопии мазков (например, мазков отделяемого урогенитального тракта).
