Morphological evaluation of bone tissue under collagen and titanium membranes in experiment

Abstract

The aim of this study was to perform a comparative evaluation of two types of membranes for guided bone regeneration. The proliferative activity of a titanium membrane and a membrane made of collagen. The work was performed on the biopsy material of the rams’ jaws, which performed bone augmentation using two types of membranes. Morphological and histochemical studies of biopsy samples showed high proliferative activity of the samples under study.
