Отчасти это может быть связано с глобальным постарением населения многих стран мира. Эти два нарушения, ранее считавшиеся взаимоисключающими, имеют ряд особенностей и представляют спектр проблем для клиницистов. Обе болезни имеют генетическую основу и подвержены различным влияниям окружающей среды; они начинаются в молодом возрасте, хотя развитие полной клинической картины может занять десятилетия, связаны со значительной заболеваемостью и смертностью, и обе могут присутствовать у одного пациента одновременно, многократно усиливая свое патологическое влияние.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Postmenopausal osteoporosis and obesity are two metabolic diseases, the prevalence of which has increased in recent decades. In part, this may be due to the global aging’ of the population of many countries in the world. These two disorders, previously considered mutually exclusive, have a number of characteristics and represent a range of problems for clinicians.
