В области низких значений ИМТ смертность увеличивается преимущественно в ассоциации с уменьшением безжировой массы тела, а в области высоких значений – за счет увеличения жировой массы. С помощью метода, сочетающего в себе оценку индекса массы тела и доли жировой массы тела, можно избежать ошибок диагностики и выявить такие состояния, как ложное ожирение, грацильный и мышечный типы сложения, свойственные спортивному контингенту, а также скрытое ожирение, нередко выявляющееся у людей молодого возраста при гиподинамии или нерациональном питании. В настоящей статье предлагается классификация и кодификация истинных и скрытых состояний пищевого статуса с зависимости от градаций ИМТ и доли жировой массы. Рассматривается шаблон пересечения граничных значений ИМТ и доли жировой массы на фоне двумерных половозрастных центилей в пространстве индексов безжировой и жировой массы тела, который отражает встречаемость в популяции типичных и редких вариантов сочетанного пищевого статуса. Для диагностических целей можно использовать переложение этого шаблона на поле реальных значений иЖМТ, иБМТ, ИМТ и %ЖМТ для конкретной половозрастной группы/</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>BMI values, both higher and lower than the age- and sex-appropriate norm, are associated with an increased mortality risk. At low BMI values, mortality increases primarily due to a decrease in lean body mass, while at high values, it increases due to an increase in fat mass. Using a method that combines assessment of body mass index and body fat percentage, it is possible to avoid diagnostic errors and identify conditions such as false obesity, the gracile and muscular body types typical of athletes, and hidden obesity, which is often detected in young people with physical inactivity or poor diet. This article proposes a classiﬁcation and codiﬁcation of true and hidden nutritional status conditions based on BMI gradations and body fat percentage. We examine a pattern of intersection of BMI and body fat percentage cutoff values against two-dimensional age-sex centiles in the space of fat free mass and fat mass indices, reﬂecting the prevalence of common and rare variants of combined nutritional status in the population.
