<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>On December 18, 2025, an expert consultation on «Practical Aspects and Prospects for the Use of the Emollient LIPIKAR BAUME AP+MAX®» was held in Moscow. This scientific event provided a platform for discussing the skin microbiome and its role in the pathogenesis of chronic skin diseases, particularly atopic dermatitis, taking into account current scientific data. The consultation also addressed the use of the new emollient+ LIPIKAR BAUME AP+MAX® in patient management algorithms for atopic dermatitis, based on current clinical protocols. The discussion focused on the mechanisms of itching in atopic dermatitis, as well as the relationship between xerosis and itching in light of the prospects for the use of emollients+. Data on the effectiveness of the new emollient+ LIPIKAR BAUME AP+MAX® in patients with atopic dermatitis were also discussed.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>микробиом</kwd><kwd>барьерная функция кожи</kwd><kwd>зуд</kwd><kwd>атопический дерматит</kwd><kwd>эмоленты+</kwd><kwd>наружное средство LIPIKAR BAUME AP+MAX®</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>microbiome</kwd><kwd>skin barrier function</kwd><kwd>itching</kwd><kwd>atopic dermatitis</kwd><kwd>emollients+</kwd><kwd>topical agent LIPIKAR BAUME AP+MAX®</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Proksch E, Brandner JM, Jensen JM.
