<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article is an overview and contains up-to-date information on the mechanisms of androgenetic alopecia (AGA) pathogenesis, as well as various therapeutic methods aimed at its correction, using medication and physiotherapy techniques. AGA is a highly prevalent condition of hair loss regardless of gender, age and race, and has a significant impact on the quality of life of patients. Although there are many treatment options available to patients with AGA, the most common are the FDA-approved drugs minoxidil and finasteride, while data on the use of alternative treatments is limited. The use of fractional ablative and non-ablative lasers in combination with topical therapy is a promising method characterized by a high safety profile, tolerability and effectiveness.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>андрогенная алопеция</kwd><kwd>АГА</kwd><kwd>фракционные лазеры</kwd><kwd>лазер</kwd><kwd>восстановление роста волос</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>androgenetic alopecia</kwd><kwd>AGA</kwd><kwd>fractional lasers</kwd><kwd>laser</kwd><kwd>hair regrowth</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Perper, Marina, et al. «Efficacy of fractional lasers in treating alopecia: a literature review.» Lasers in medical science 2017. 32: 1919–1925.</mixed-citation><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Perper, Marina, et al. «Efficacy of fractional lasers in treating alopecia: a literature review.» Lasers in medical science 2017. 32: 1919–1925.</mixed-citation></citation-alternatives></ref><ref id="cit2"><label>2</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Kanti, Varvara, et al. «Evidence-based (S3) guideline for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia in women and in men–short version.» Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology 2018. 32.1: 11–22.</mixed-citation><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Kanti, Varvara, et al. «Evidence-based (S3) guideline for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia in women and in men–short version.» Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology 2018. 32.1: 11–22.</mixed-citation></citation-alternatives></ref><ref id="cit3"><label>3</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Paik, J-H., et al. «The prevalence and types of androgenetic alopecia in Korean men and women.» British Journal of Dermatology 2001.145.1: 95–99.</mixed-citation><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Paik, J-H., et al. «The prevalence and types of androgenetic alopecia in Korean men and women.» British Journal of Dermatology 2001.145.1: 95–99.</mixed-citation></citation-alternatives></ref><ref id="cit4"><label>4</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Incidence of female androgenetic alopecia (female pattern alopecia) Norwood OT.
