Проведена оценка уровня знаний студентов двух курсов стоматологического факультета по вопросам оказания помощи детям при острой травме зубов.

Материалы и методы

Материалы и методы. Проведено исследование по результатам анкетирования 314 студентов стоматологического факультета УГМУ. Анкета-опросник включала в себя 9 вопросов, разделенных на три блока. Вопросы из первого блока использовались для оценки информированности студентов в отношении травмы зубов у детей, второго блока – для оценки знаний студентов в вопросах переломов зубов у детей, третьего блока – для оценки знаний студентов в отношении вывихов зубов у детей.

Результаты

Результаты. Студенты 5 курса в большей степени обладают знаниями по вопросам дентального травматизма у детей, чем студенты 2 курса. На большую часть вопросов большинство студентов 5 курса (от 50 до 80%) отвечали правильно, тогда как в группе студентов 2 курса правильные ответы получены от 50% респондентов и менее.

Выводы

Выводы. Уровень знаний студентов стоматологического факультета УГМУ по вопросам дентального травматизма недостаточен. Представляется перспективным внедрение в учебный процесс студентов всех курсов стоматологического факультета дополнительных дисциплин и модулей по травме зубов в детском возрасте, проведение студентами санитарно-просветительской работы среди населения.

An assessment was made of the level of knowledge of two-year students of the Faculty of Dentistry on issues of providing assistance to children with acute dental trauma.

Materials and methods

Materials and methods. A study was conducted based on the results of a survey of 314 students of the USMU Faculty of Dentistry. The questionnaire included 9 questions divided into three blocks. The questions from the first block were used to assess students’ awareness of dental trauma in children, the second block – to assess students’ knowledge of dental fractures in children, the third block – to assess students’ knowledge of dental dislocations in children.

Results

Results. Fifth-year students have more knowledge on dental trauma in children than second-year students. Most fifthyear students (50 to 80%) answered most questions correctly, while in the group of second-year students, correct answers were received from 50% of respondents or less.

Conclusions

Conclusions. The level of knowledge of students of the USMU Faculty of Dentistry on dental trauma is insufficient. It seems promising to introduce additional disciplines and modules on dental trauma in childhood into the educational process of students of all courses of the Faculty of Dentistry, and for students to conduct health education work among the population.
