<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article analyzes the results of treatment of patients with a diagnosis of primary operable breast cancer who were on treatment at the Samara Regional Clinical Oncology Centre. It was proved that the performance of radical resections does not lead to worsening of the immediate and long-term results of treatment of patients diagnosed with breast cancer in comparison with the group undergoing radical mastectomies.
