<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Optimal nutrition, balanced in calories and containing all essential nutrients in adequate amounts, is an important condition for the proper fetus development and pregnancy complications prevention. Vitamins and minerals play an essential role in the regulation of metabolism, cell proliferation and differentiation, growth and development of the fetus. They also affect the mother’s body, preventing the development of pregnancy-related diseases. Despite the obvious need for vitamins and minerals for the health of the pregnant woman and the fetus, questions remain about the advisability of additional intake of certain micronutrients and their dosages during pregnancy. Our article is devoted to the analysis of recent data on the intake of vitamins A, D, folic acid, iron, calcium and magnesium during pregnancy and their effect on the fetus and mother.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>витамины</kwd><kwd>минералы</kwd><kwd>беременность</kwd><kwd>витамин А</kwd><kwd>витамин D</kwd><kwd>фолиевая кислота</kwd><kwd>железо</kwd><kwd>кальций</kwd><kwd>магний</kwd><kwd>витаминноминеральные комплексы</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>vitamins</kwd><kwd>minerals</kwd><kwd>pregnancy</kwd><kwd>vitamin A</kwd><kwd>vitamin D</kwd><kwd>folic acid</kwd><kwd>iron</kwd><kwd>calcium</kwd><kwd>magnesium</kwd><kwd>multivitamin-multimineral complexes</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Методические рекомендации МР 2.3.1.0253–21 «Нормы физиологических потребностей в энергии и пищевых веществах для различных групп населения Российской Федерации», утверждены руководителем Федеральной службы по надзору в сфере защиты прав потребителей и благополучия человека – Главным государственным санитарным врачом Российской Федерации 22.07.2021. https://www.rospotrebnadzor.ru/documents/details.php?ELEMENT_ID=18979.</mixed-citation><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Methodical recommendations MR 2.3.1.0253–21 “Norms of physiological requirements in energy and nutrients of various groups of the population of the Russian Federation”, approved by the Head of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing Chief State Sanitary Physician of the Russian Federation 22.07.2021.
