В статье представлен обзор литературы, отражающий современные аспекты терминологии климактерия, симптомов климактерического синдрома и возможности его терапии. Рассмотрены показания, противопоказания и свойства менопаузальной гормональной терапии, а также эффективность фитоэстрогенов у женщин в периипостменопаузе.

The article presents a review of the literature reflecting modern aspects of climacteric terminology, climacteric syndrome symptoms and the possibility of its therapy. The indications, contraindications and properties of menopausal hormone therapy, as well as the effectiveness of phytoestrogens in women in peri- and postmenopausal women, are considered.
