<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article highlights the experience of ultrasound and functional diagnostics imaging doctor’s work in the «red zone» at the time of new COVID‑19 coronavirus infection pandemic. Echocardiography is a valuable tool in the assessment of right ventricular disfunction and pulmonary hypertension degree, acute virus myocarditis and acute coronary syndrome. Transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography is used to monitor the patient’s condition during treatment with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and multiple organ failure syndrome.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>новая короновирусная инфекция COVID‑19</kwd><kwd>трансторакальная и чреспищеводная эхокардиография</kwd><kwd>легочная гипертензия</kwd><kwd>острый вирусный миокардит</kwd><kwd>острый коронарный синдром</kwd><kwd>ЭКМО</kwd><kwd>синдром полиорганной недостаточности</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>new coronavirus infection COVID‑19</kwd><kwd>transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography</kwd><kwd>pulmonary hypertension</kwd><kwd>acute viral myocarditis</kwd><kwd>acute coronary syndrome</kwd><kwd>ECMO</kwd><kwd>multiple organ failure syndrome</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">WHO Director-General’s opening remarks at the media briefing on COVID‑19–3 May 2021. https://www.who.int/director-general/speeches/detail/directorgeneral-s-opening-remarks-at-the-media-briefing-on-covid-19–3-may-2021 (Accessed December 27, 2021).</mixed-citation><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">WHO Director-General’s opening remarks at the media briefing on COVID‑19–3 May 2021. https://www.who.int/director-general/speeches/detail/directorgeneral-s-opening-remarks-at-the-media-briefing-on-covid-19-3-may-2021 (Accessed December 27, 2021).</mixed-citation></citation-alternatives></ref><ref id="cit2"><label>2</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Минздрав РФ.
