<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The review discusses issues related to genetic predisposition and resistance to tuberculosis. Genetic factors largely determine susceptibility to various diseases, including infections. The main focus is on the genes of the major histocompatibility complex and toll-like receptors. A number of genetic polymorphisms responsible for resistance and predisposition to tuberculosis and related clinical consequences are considered. Knowledge of molecular genetic biomarkers is necessary to identify risk groups and carry out predictive measures.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>туберкулез</kwd><kwd>генетическая предрасположенность</kwd><kwd>однонуклеотидные полиморфизмы</kwd><kwd>лабораторные биомаркеры</kwd><kwd>Toll-подобные рецепторы</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>tuberculosis</kwd><kwd>genetic predisposition</kwd><kwd>single nucleotide polymorphisms</kwd><kwd>laboratory biomarkers</kwd><kwd>Toll-like receptors</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Matzaraki V., Kumar V., Wijmenga C. et al.
