<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Balanced diet is a prerequisite for physiological pregnancy, fetal development and growth. The peculiarities of the modern lifestyle impede the formation of an optimal diet, as a result of which various nutritional disorders are widespread in pregnant women, including multihypovitaminosis and microelementosis. Micronutrient deficiencies experienced by the fetus during intrauterine development can alter body structure, the function of stem cells and regulatory hormonal axes, which increases the likelihood of developing noncommunicable diseases in adulthood. Folic acid and methylation factors, iron, zinc and magnesium have the greatest influence on fetal programming. For the prevention and correction of micronutrient deficiencies in pregnant women, an integrated approach is required using multivitamin and mineral complexes.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>фетальное программирование</kwd><kwd>нутритивный статус</kwd><kwd>полигиповитаминозы</kwd><kwd>микроэлементозы</kwd><kwd>микронутриентная недостаточность</kwd><kwd>беременность</kwd><kwd>плод</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>fetal programming</kwd><kwd>nutritional status</kwd><kwd>polyhypovitaminosis</kwd><kwd>microelementosis</kwd><kwd>micronutrient deficiency</kwd><kwd>pregnancy</kwd><kwd>fetus</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Публикация выполнена при поддержке программы  стратегического академического лидерства РУДН.</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Bischoff AR, Cunha FD, Dalle Molle R, Maróstica PJ, Silveira PP.
